External Piercings |

Your new piercing should be cleaned two to three times daily using salt water solution. Saltwater can be made at home using one teaspoon of sea salt in a mug of boiling water. Alow to cool to lukewarm before using. Soap and strong cleansers containing strong perfumes or other additives should be avoided. Matter secreted from the piercing may dry on or around your jewellery during the healing process. If this occurs bathe the area with anti-bacterial soap and previously boiled water while turning the jewellery back and forth gently. |
Oral Piercings |
Rinse your mouth with diluted Listerine (50/ 50 with water) for at least two minutes twice daily during the first four weeks and after eating or smoking. |
General Advice |
|
Swimming, dirty environments, physical abuse and your own physical health will affect the healing process so exercise common sense. We recommend a solution of warm recently boiled water and Sea Salt |
